What CCTV tells us about how Henry Nowak's murder unfolded

Insights from CCTV Footage on the Tragic Death of Henry Nowak

Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old student in the early stages of his first university year, lost his life on December 3 while traveling back to his Southampton accommodation. Despite repeatedly informing officers that he had been stabbed, Nowak was placed in handcuffs by police. This occurred after Vickrum Digwa falsely alleged that Nowak had racially abused him.

Nowak had been enjoying a night out with friends prior to the incident. The sequence of events leading to his death has been pieced together through a combination of CCTV recordings, body-worn camera footage, and a 999 call placed by Gurpreet Digwa, Vickrum Digwa’s brother.
